Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Your appointment is reserved once payment and any required booking information have been received.
Because appointment time is reserved specifically for you, session fees are non-refundable. Appointments may be rescheduled according to the cancellation and rescheduling policy below.
If Info Chick Business Consulting must cancel your session and a reasonable alternate time cannot be arranged, your session fee will be refunded.
If, after reviewing your intake information and before the scheduled session, Info Chick determines that your matter clearly falls outside the scope of services offered, you will be contacted regarding next steps and any applicable refund.
One reschedule is permitted with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the session and payment.
Missed sessions without notice are considered forfeited.
If Info Chick Business Consulting must reschedule a session, the client will be offered a new appointment time. If a mutually suitable time cannot be arranged, the session fee will be refunded.
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply.
Clients arriving 10 minutes or more after the scheduled start time without prior arrangement may have the appointment treated as a missed session. No refund or additional session time will be provided.

Sort Out Partner Engagements
Sort Out Partner engagements are scoped individually. The scope of work, expected time involved, pricing, payment schedule, and other terms will be provided in writing before the engagement begins.
Work begins after the payment required under the written proposal has been received. If a required payment is not received, work may pause until payment is made.
Sort Out Partner scope, hours, and rate are defined in writing before the engagement begins and may only be changed by mutual written agreement.
The Sort Out Call and Sort Out Session include the scheduled working session and any follow-up specifically identified as part of that service.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a session does not include ongoing consulting, unlimited follow-up, communication with third parties, additional research, document preparation, project management, or work performed after the scheduled session.
If additional support is needed, it may be booked separately or addressed through a Sort Out Partner engagement.
Info Chick Business Consulting provides consulting focused on helping clients sort through complicated situations, organize information and requirements, identify questions or missing pieces, and determine practical next steps.
Depending on the service and situation, this may include reviewing information provided by the client, organizing documents or requirements, researching general information, preparing questions, gathering information, coordinating follow-up, and helping carry out agreed next steps.
Information provided or discussed through Info Chick is intended to support organization, preparation, and informed decision-making. It is not a substitute for advice from an attorney, CPA, financial professional, insurance professional, or other appropriately licensed specialist.
When a situation requires licensed or specialized expertise, the client is responsible for obtaining advice from the appropriate professional.
Info Chick Business Consulting does not provide services that require professional licensure, certification, or authorization and does not provide:
Legal advice or legal representation
Interpretation of a client’s legal rights, obligations, or legal remedies
Tax return preparation or individualized tax recommendations
Accounting, auditing, or bookkeeping services
Investment recommendations or individualized financial planning advice
Insurance sales, policy selection, coverage recommendations, claims determinations, or individualized insurance advice
Professional opinions, certifications, or attestations
Professional filings or representation before courts, taxing authorities, government agencies, or other entities when professional licensure or authorization is required
When a question requires professional judgment, interpretation, licensure, or a determination specific to the client’s circumstances, Info Chick may help the client organize the issue and prepare questions, but the final determination should be made by the appropriate licensed or qualified professional.
Info Chick may help a business owner organize receipts, statements, invoices, and other records; explain general recordkeeping practices; identify information that appears to be missing; and prepare questions for the business owner’s CPA.
Info Chick does not determine whether a specific expense is legally deductible, select a tax treatment, or provide a professional tax opinion.
The same distinction applies to legal, financial, insurance, accounting, and other regulated professional matters.
Information researched or discussed during a session may come from publicly available sources, information supplied by the client, government resources, professional correspondence, or other materials relevant to the client’s situation.
Info Chick Business Consulting makes reasonable efforts to use reliable information; however, laws, regulations, policies, procedures, fees, deadlines, program requirements, and other information can change.
Research and information provided during a session should therefore be used as a starting point for organization, preparation, and informed decision-making, not as a substitute for professional verification when professional review is appropriate.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their situation.
Info Chick Business Consulting can help identify questions, options, missing information, and possible next steps, but the client remains responsible for:
Making final business decisions
Reviewing information before acting on it
Meeting applicable deadlines
Providing requested documents or information
Following up with appropriate professionals, agencies, organizations, or other parties
Obtaining professional advice when the situation requires it
If important information is incomplete, unavailable, or unknown, recommendations or next steps may need to change as additional information becomes available.
Info Chick Business Consulting helps clients become more organized, prepared, and informed, but no particular business, financial, legal, tax, insurance, regulatory, funding, approval, or other outcome is guaranteed.
The purpose of the service is to help clients better understand the situation in front of them and move forward with more organized information and better-prepared next steps.
Working with Info Chick Business Consulting does not create an attorney-client, CPA-client, accountant-client, financial adviser-client, insurance producer-client, or other licensed professional relationship.
When specialized professional services are needed, clients should consult the appropriately qualified professional.
Info Chick may help a client prepare for that conversation so the client can make better use of the professional’s time and arrive with organized information and focused questions.
By booking and participating in a session with Info Chick Business Consulting, clients acknowledge that they have reviewed and agree to these Client Policies & Service Terms and understand the scope and limitations of the services provided.
