Why Info Chick Exists

Info Chick Business Consulting was created out of real-world necessity. After more than 30 years in the highly regulated corporate travel industry, Chantel Howard saw firsthand how audit requirements, documentation standards, and compliance controls protect organizations at scale. When she began supporting IRS-related projects and backend organization for small businesses and mission-driven organizations, a clear gap emerged. Many were operating without the structure required to withstand scrutiny or support growth. Info Chick Business Consulting was formed to translate corporate-level discipline into practical systems, documentation, and compliance-focused guidance for service-based businesses that need clarity, accountability, and readiness.

Founder & Lead Consultant

Info Chick Business Consulting was founded by Chantel Howard, a business operations and compliance consultant with over 30 years of experience in the highly regulated corporate travel industry. 

Throughout her career, Chantel worked within systems where documentation accuracy, policy adherence, process oversight, and audit readiness were non-negotiable. She understands how small gaps, unclear processes, or missing documentation can quietly create risk long before a business owner realizes there is a problem. 

Her background also includes long-term governance and leadership roles within community and faith-based organizations, further strengthening her ability to assess risk, accountability, and operational responsibility at an organizational level.  

Today, Chantel brings this structured, compliance-aware mindset to service-based small businesses that are often expected to “figure it out” on their own. Her work helps business owners understand where they stand, identify what may be missing, and take the right next steps in the right order without overwhelm.
